Saving Teeth

Dr Rameesa Khalil graduated from the University of Leeds in 2024 and has since gained clinical experience through Foundation Training in the North West and Dental Core Training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Her experience in secondary care has exposed her to a wide range of patients and complex dental and medical presentations, helping her develop a calm and compassionate approach to patient care.
Rameesa is passionate about building trusting relationships with her patients and creating a relaxed, welcoming environment. She believes good dentistry starts with listening, understanding each patient’s needs and empowering them to take control of their oral health. She has a particular interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, as well as prevention and helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles.
Alongside clinical practice, Rameesa has a keen interest in dental research and has contributed to numerous published research projects. As a Raised in Yorkshire Research Fellow, she worked with the University of Leeds and Leeds Dental Institute on an award-winning programme exploring children’s oral health, dental anxiety and toothbrushing behaviours.
Outside of dentistry, Rameesa enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling and discovering new places. She looks forward to welcoming patients to the practice and helping them feel comfortable, confident and well cared for throughout their dental journey.
